A Team Built Around You

Care at Mitchell Dentistry doesn’t stop with the dentists; it’s shaped just as much by the hygienists and staff you see at every visit, all committed to warm, unhurried, one-patient-at-a-time care.

Our hygienists are even certified to administer local anesthetic for periodontal treatment, adding comfort not every office offers.

Melissa, CRDH

My passion for the dental field began in high school when getting braces sparked my curiosity about dentistry. I was fascinated by how a healthy, confident smile could transform a person’s self-esteem. In 2012 I became a dental assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience, developing strong clinical skills, and building lasting patient connections. That experience deepened my appreciation for the impact of preventive care and education in promoting long-term oral health. I was inspired to return to school and pursue a career in dental hygiene, and my goal is to provide compassionate, thorough care while continuing to learn and grow within the profession.

During my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, traveling, reading and trying to learn a third language. I am proud to be part of the Mitchell Dental team that values education, preventive and a patient-first approach.

Crystal, CRDH

Crystal joined our practice in 2022 after graduating from Florida Southwestern State College with honors. She will be sitting on the FSW Advisory Board as an Alumni. I’m looking forward to building patient relationships and educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene. Providing quality care to all patients is something I am very passionate about.

She enjoys educating her patients to help them reach these goals. Yessenia is a Florida Southwestern State College graduate and currently works specific days as a clinical instructor teaching dental hygiene students. She holds a Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. Yessenia is inspired by those who always have a positive mindset.
