Melissa, CRDH

My passion for the dental field began in high school when getting braces sparked my curiosity about dentistry. I was fascinated by how a healthy, confident smile could transform a person's self-esteem. In 2012 I became a dental assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience, developing strong clinical skills, and building lasting patient connections. That experience deepened my appreciation for the impact of preventive care and education in promoting long-term oral health. I was inspired to return to school and pursue a career in dental hygiene, and my goal is to provide compassionate, thorough care while continuing to learn and grow within the profession.
During my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, traveling, reading and trying to learn a third language. I am proud to be part of the Mitchell Dental team that values education, preventive and a patient-first approach.
